Day 6: My view on mainstream music

i see i am beginning to post at night X_X, im sorry

This one is hard oh,

I think the music today is amazing, i am very much into music these days, my ipod is like my best friend, i have music in my ears for like 10hours outta a 24hour day.
i am what you would call a music whore, i personally do not listen to a particular genre, my favorite playlist has genre from gospel to classical, nigerian to blues, R and B, soft rock, alternative, oldies, hiphop, even spoken word poetry, i listen to it all, all except rap and metal

I remember connecting my ipod to the speakers in my friends car and he was speechless the entire journey, the way the tempo and lyrics of the songs changed was something else.

Do i feel that music in the old days were better?
Well i am of the school of thought that we have excellent musicians in today's time, and even though people like to believe it was all rosy 20years ago, they had crappy songs then too.
i appreciate the old, but i am living for the new and recent.

:)

Hun why didn't you tell us you were doing the challenge as well? I will make sure I come past and comment more often!

I post at night as well. It makes it easier because Im winding down and more relaxed.

Lol at music whore. I feel you though, music is just divine. Was music better back then? I think our memories of our lives when we were younger were better. So we associate those feelings with that music.

I love music and like you I don't really listen to metal, some rap is cool.
